Messages from Mr. Ojeda
Friday June 26, 2009
Three times. Three times I felt the tears well up as I left
school on Monday. Over the last six years, School No. 22 has come to be a second
home for me: and my colleagues, students, and their loved ones, a second family.
I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that next
year will bring, to being vice principal at Reilly, and to working with lots of
wonderful teachers, students, and families. Yesterday was our first uniform
fitting and I had a chance to start meeting them; I left the event feeling more
hopeful about next year than when I arrived.
Nevertheless, I know a part of me will never leave the
classrooms where I have taught, where I learned so much about teaching and about
myself. I feel privileged to have been able to serve you all.
Thank you for your
kind words and well wishes. I will miss you.
With Love,
Mr. Ojeda
PS and to my homerooms past and present: Adis folks,
