3. What is impeachment?
4. What are the age requirements to be in the state legislature?

Now, the City of Elizabeth is in New Jersey's 20th Legislative District.  Click here to see an interactive map of New Jersey.  Find District 20 and list the names of our state legislators.

Spend 10-15 minutes looking over this site: PBS Kids Democracy Project: How Does Government Affect Me?

Then, complete the following:

1. List five ways that the government affects you.
2. Explain in one paragraph: in which way does the government affect you the most?
